SA National Parks
There are 22 National Parks throughout South Africa and each one offers different systems, landscapes, activities and a variety of wildlife unique to the specific park. Of all these National Parks, the Kruger National Park is the largest. Transfrontier Parks South Africa has no less than six parks straddling the borders with Namibia, Botswana Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Swaziland and Lesotho, jointly administered with the country concerned. Most of the areas have only very recently been proclaimed and are still in the developing stages. They are relatively remote and unspoilt by human encroachment. These are unique areas with vast tracts of pristine wilderness. Here you can experience the essence of Africa where wildlife still moves freely across political borders and nature rules supreme.
Wildlife and Nature Areas
There is a wide spectrum of wildlife and nature areas, ranging from snow-clad mountains to subtropical coastal regions. These areas also include private game and nature reserves and are ideal destinations for the numerous adventure activities on offer in South Africa. Guided Wilderness Trails, hiking trails, horse-riding trails and river rafting are some of the many options available.
Coastal Regions
South Africa’s extensive coastline of about 3000 kilometers offers many opportunities for swimming, fishing, surfing, and yachting. Explore the hidden world beneath the surface of the sea, by snorkelling and scuba diving. Take part in the adventure activities on offer or just relax on our clean beaches. Enjoy the nightlife in the main coastal cities like Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and East London, or just hide away in blissful unawareness from the rest of the world in the many small coastal towns and resorts.
Southern Africa
Explore the neighboring countries of South Africa. View the many natural wonders such as the Victoria Falls which can be seen from Zambia or Zimbabwe.
